I cannot believe that Austin is 5. We have had SO much fun having him in our family. Austin is such a good big brother, and a wonderful helper.
For Austin's Birthday he wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese. He actually wanted to go there last year but it was way too crazy to go in (lesson learned - avoid weekends there). He was a good sport last year and we did Glow Golf instead. The day before his birthday this year he asked if he was going to get to go to Chuck E. Cheese. I told him I was not sure. He went off on how he didn't get to go when he was 4 and now I wasn't going to let him go when he was 5 either. He reminded me that he had been asking for a year to go to Chuck E. Cheese, which he had, but with the craziness of having a baby 2 weeks ago I was not as prepared as I should have been - totally forgot about Chuck E.) I talked to Jason and we decided we should at least make the effort to go. It worked out and the whole family had a great time.
Austin had fun beating Jason at air hockey.
My uncle made this awesome Batman cake.Thanks Dale and Michael!
I hope his wish comes true. He will not tell me what it was (because then it won't come true), but he assures me it was a good one.
Austin could hardly wait to get to his gifts. He had a great birthday.We love you Austin!!!

That is a COOL cake! Can I admit that I don't EVER remember going to Chuck E. Cheese? I'm sure I have but maybe it wasn't all that great of an experience? Who knows but I'm not signing up to go anytime again soon. I'd rather go glow golfing!
Sounds like he had a great time! Props to you for tackling C.C. that place can be a ZOO! So love the cake! Wish we lived close enough to get one. Happy Birthday Austin!
